What is Invite to Capture and how do I use it?

Invite to Capture lets you invite clients, homeowners, subcontractors, and field teams to capture spaces for you. Capture more projects with less effort while keeping all your data organized in your Twindo account.

After accepting a project invitation, collaborators can capture and upload to shared projects. Once uploaded, their scans and project assets become instantly accessible in your account for review and ordering.

How do I invite collaborators to a project?

Log in to your account and open your projects view at: https://app.twindo.com/projects.

When creating a new project:

1. Name the project
2. Add collaborator email addresses during project creation
3. Click “Send Invite” to save them into the Project
4. Click Create to send invitations

For existing projects:

1. Open the project
2. Click the “…” in the top right to open Project Info
3. Add collaborator email addresses and click “Send invite”
4. Click Save to send invitations

Note: You need an internet connection to send invitations. You'll see an error if the invitation doesn't send successfully.

How do collaborators accept invitations?

Collaborators will receive an email invitation and see an "Accept Invite" card in their Dashboard or Projects tab.

To accept:

1. Tap Accept Invite from the email, Dashboard, or Projects view
2. The project will now appear in their Projects list

Collaborators must accept the invitation to gain access to the project.

What can collaborators do? Collaborators can:

• Create and upload scans to the project
• Rename or delete their own scans
• View uploaded scans from other users

Collaborators cannot:

• Move scans to other projects
• Order Scan to CAD
• View orders
• Rename or delete scans from other users
• View scans that haven't been uploaded yet

Project owners retain full access and permissions to the project.

How do I manage or remove collaborators?

1. Open the project and go to Project Info
2. Remove the collaborator's email
3. Click Save to apply changes

Once removed, collaborators immediately lose access to the project. You can re-invite them later if needed.

Who can use Invite to Capture?

• Project owners must be on an Essentials or Scale plan to invite collaborators.
• Collaborators don't need a membership. Projects they're invited to won't count toward their project limits.
