Our latest feature release, Invite to Capture, is officially live, and it’s about to help you fast-track every project.

With Invite to Capture, you can invite clients, homeowners, subcontractors, and field teams to scan spaces on your behalf. That means you can capture more spaces with less effort—while keeping everything organized in one place inside your Twindo account.

What Is Invite to Capture?

Invite to Capture allows you to bring collaborators into your Twindo projects so they can scan and upload spaces for you. Whether you’re working with a homeowner, subcontractor, or field team, you can now collect accurate site data without needing to be onsite yourself.

How It Works

Getting started is simple:

1. You create a new project and invite collaborators
2. Your collaborator accepts the invite, scans the space, and uploads their scan(s) to the project 
3. You review the scan(s) and place your order. The as-built will be sent directly to you.

All scans are added directly to your project, making them instantly available for review and ordering 3D models, 2D floor plans, or measurement reports.

What Your Collaborators Can Do

Once invited to a project, your clients or field contacts can:

• Create and upload scans to the shared project
• Rename or delete their own scans
• View scans uploaded by other collaborators on the project

This gives them exactly what they need to contribute without requiring you to give up control.

What Only You (the Project Owner) Can Do

To keep things clean and secure, only you can:

• Place Scan to CAD orders
• View orders
• Remove collaborators from the project

You stay in control of the project and the spend while your team helps you move faster.

Who Can Use It?

Invite to Capture is available to all Essentials and Scale plan members.

• Collaborators only need:
  • A LiDAR-enabled Apple device (iPhone Pro or iPad Pro)
  • The free Twindo app
• No paid membership is required for collaborators
• If a collaborator also has their own Twindo account, projects they’re invited to scan do not count against their project limits

If you’re already an Essentials or Scale plan member, you’ll be able to add an email address to invite your collaborators. 

If you’re not an Essentials or Scale plan member, you’ll be prompted to upgrade to a membership to continue.
